Some of my newer animal paintings & prints are on display the month of August at Starbucks on the south end of Medford (across the street from the Harry and David Country Store).  A new painting of a  shelter bunny and a Pit Bull puppy (Beauford) are included as part of the show!  All work on display is for sale – information is available at the front counter.

"Who Does She Think She Is?" Women’s Art Show July 30 – August 31, RCC/SOU Higher Education Center, Medford, Oregon

One of my paintings (Riley) is part of this wonderful art show which includes work from 50 local women artists. Stop by and take a look if you get a chance (101 South Bartlett Ave, Medford, OR). Also, the documentary film “Who Does She Think She Is?” will be showing again on Friday, September 24 at 6:30, although the art show will no longer be on display. It’s an interesting and inspiring film and well worth seeing. Thanks to Besty Lewis and Cynthia Gott for coordinating this event!

Rogue Gallery & Art Center "Dancing with the Muse" July 17 – August 13, 2010

See the framed version of one of my recent paintings, “Love Bug”, at the Rogue Gallery in Medford this month! Opening night is part of Medford’s third Friday Art Walk, July 17th from 5 – 8PM! When I dropped off the painting today, I took a sneak peek at all the artwork – pretty impressive!

"Art For Pitties" – Even Chance Charity Auction Starts August 22nd on Ebay Charities Website

Just finished my painted tote bag for the “Art for Pitties” fundraiser which begins August 15th via the internet.  Fifty+ artists have donated one of a kind tote bags and other items to be auctioned off to support Even Chance, a Pit Bull resource, rescue and advocacy group based in San Diego. I am a Pit Bull owner and have also been a Pit Bull foster parent. They are amazing dogs – smart, loving and total “people pleasers”. I’ve painted my Pit Bull Riley several times, so for this tote bag I painted Roscoe, our first foster dog! Please support this fundraiser – they are also auctioning off art which is not on a tote bag. Betty White even donated something – no kidding!  www.artforpitties.blogspot.com

Featured Artist at Bloomsbury Bookstore Coffee Shop – June 2010

My work is on display at Bloomsbury Bookstore Coffee Shop on Main Street in Ashland through the end of June!  Some new pieces – “Pug in Blue” and “Wide Eyed Red” are there, along with some other paintings and prints from my show earlier this year!  Also,  thanks to everyone who voted in the Mutt Lynch Wine Label competition! “Wide Eyed Red” made it into the “Top 10”,  but was not selected as the final label choice.  Seventy-seven artists entered the competition – it was an impressive collection of dog art!

Help me get "Wide Eyed Red" on a Mutt Lynch Wine Label!

Beginning Wednesday, May 19th, through Monday, May 24th, you can vote for my painting “Wide Eyed Red” to be featured on a Mutt Lynch Wine label! Voting is done online through the Dog Art Today website www.dogarttoday.com. You can vote once per day per computer. Ten percent of the proceeds of sales from this wine will be donated to the San Francisco SPCA!

Thanks to everyone who came to see my work on February 5th! My camera malfunctioned during this event, so most of these photos were taken as I was setting up and at the very end of the evening.
