Rogue Women: Unique Perspectives in Art – Opening Reception, February 5th, 5-8PM
Rogue Women are the featured artists at Art & Soul Gallery in Ashland during the month of February. We are a group of professional artists from the Rogue Valley and Northern California, working in a wide variety of art mediums. Join us at the opening reception on Friday, February 5th from 5-8PM for a fun evening of art, wine by Eliana Winery, and music by a local favorite, Jennifer Joss! Can’t make it? The show remains up through February 29th.

My Newest Cat Commission – Inspired Pet Portraits and Animal Paintings by Dana Feagin
This commission took a bit of time to find the right photo. Abby was a very special kitty, and since it is a memorial painting, it was really important to find the right picture as a reference. Last week the completed painting shipped off to Idaho, where she will be displayed in a very special place and Abby will always be remembered for the beautiful kitty that she was.
Abby is now featured in the “Selected Archives” section of my website.
“It’s A Dog’s Life” Canine Art Guild 17th Online Show – Inspired Pet Portraits & Animal Paintings by Dana Feagin
I made the deadline this go around, for the next online Canine Art Guild Show – “It’s A Dog’s Life”. Take a peek at the wonderful dog art – and vote for the people’s choice award! Included in the mix are my paintings of Bob (Big ‘ol Boy) – It Wasn’t Me – pictured below, Fleur de Lab (which is looking oddly dark online, even though he is a black lab), and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel – Roxy Heart. Special Recognition Artist – 2012 Light Space Time International Animal Art Competition
Pleased to have received a Special Recognition Artist designation in the 2012 Light Space Time International Animal Art Competition! Sam Dolman’s pig painting won the top prize – crazy detail on his fabulous painting!
